Black Magic Women’s Cycling Presidents Report

Since 2020, Environmental Accounting Services have been supporting the Black Magic Women Cycling Club. It has been fantastic to see this club grow and how the young wahine involved have grown and strived to be the best cyclists they can. This last year was a pivotal turning point where the commitment to club started to be seen in results at racing both at home here in Aotearoa NZ and abroad.

Read the President’s report below and visit their website for more on the 2025 Campaign. These young riders are truly inspirational. Please consider supporting this club with a donation if you can.

We have grown our Black Magic Team program from last year with a more extensive European program with a great lead into Road Worlds 2023 for our U19 riders.  As part of this process we manage to get key invites to European marquee events thanks to the success of the team in 2023.  Further development of accommodation and service providers in Europe will allow our European Campaign to extend in 2025 to cater for U23 as well as U19.  We are working with these providers to put in place another step up for both U19 and U23 in 2025.

With the increased competition for spots in UCI teams and the level or racing rising all the time we have identified we need to help our U23 and Elites further to bridge the gap. With this in mind we have started planning for a European campaign for U23/Elite riders in 2025.

So if you are you an ambitious U23/Elite cyclist looking to take your performance to the next level? Black Magic Women Cycling is excited to announce our U23 European Cycling Program for the upcoming season! We are seeking dedicated riders to join us for an incredible journey across Europe, featuring carefully curated racing and training blocks to maximise your performance potential
